sunday services

The main service is held every Sunday starting at 10:30am. We believe that worshipping God is the most exciting thing you can do on a Sunday morning!

Please see the what's on page for details around worship and Coronavirus

What's the service like ?

Our services combine traditional hymns with modern worship songs, lively biblical teaching which we do our best to apply to real life. We aim to grow a sense of community and love that has its roots deep in our Christian faith.

At the end of every service there is a time when you can receive personal prayer if you wish.

We hope our services are friendly, welcoming and inspiring.

We also like to think we serve some of the best church coffee in South Bristol.

Will my children be welcome?

We love having children with us at St Paul's. Please don't worry if they run around or make a noise; kids will be kids.

The first Sunday of the month is especially aimed at children and they stay in all the time.

Other Sundays there is an excellent Sunday school (Sunday's Cool) and children go out after about 10 minutes of the service; there is also a crèche area at the back of church.

Is there anything for Youth?

Six Pack (for year 6 upwards) meets on every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month and they leave the service at the same time as the children.

Do you do anything else?

Yes, we hold Café services, creative worship services and quiet meditative services on an ad hoc basis.

Does it matter if I'm late?

Yes we shout at all late comers! (only joking)... We love having people join us whatever the time... it just helps if mostly people get there for the start!

Is the church accessible?

Yes, there is a ramp to the entrance, a lift to the upper floor and an accessible toilet.

Christmas service 2020

We were not able to hold our usual Carols by Candlelight this year, but we put together a special video service with carols, readings and a message of 'Light in the Darkness' which premiered on Sunday 13th December 2020.

If you missed it, you can watch it again here.
