Welcome to

St Paul’s Church

St Paul's is a lively, growing church on Coronation Road in Southville, overlooking the New Cut and historic harbourside in the heart of Bristol.

We aim to be a beacon of God’s love and a centre of worship and mission.

We believe worship is important and we try and be as creative as possible in our styles and approaches to praise and worship.

We believe God loves our community, and we do our best to share that love in all sorts of ways, from throwing great parties to telling people about the good news of Jesus.

Coronavirus Update

As a result of the pandemic, we recognise many people are anxious about the practicalities of food, medication etc, especially if required to self-isolate or with enforced social distancing.

As a church family and community we want to demonstrate sharing, caring and support for our neighbours, so as part of the 'BS3 Community Covid-19 - Mutual Aid' response we have set up the BS3 Community Larder foodbank to provide food for local vulnerable people. We urgently need donations to offer this support.

Updated 5th September 2020

September 6th Onwards

As as from 6th September we are beginning to open the church again for prayer and worship. Measures will be in place for social distancing, hand sanitising and all cleansing precautions will be ensured. Those attending must wear masks, and people will sit in household groups. We will not be singing together, but led in times of reflection by one of the worship team and will be exploring creative ways to worship.

1st and 3rd Sundays will be all age informal.

2nd and 4th Sundays will be morning worship or communion.

Services will still be live streamed, direct from the church via the St Pauls Facebook page at 10:30am every Sunday for anyone who is unable to attend in person.

The BS3 Community larder is continuing to run and St Paul's church is open between 8.00am and 11.30 Monday-Friday to receive donations for the BS3 Community Larder foodbank.

There's always lots going on at St Paul's Church, whether it's a new series of worship and teaching, small groups, activities for young people, socials and music, or volunteering to help the homeless or those in need in our community

prayer & reflection

We are beginning to open our building for prayer and worship again. Drop in between 6-8pm on Sunday 16th August 2020 for a reflective time of socially distanced prayer.

Following a significant fundraising effort, we are now recruiting a specialist youth worker to help support our brilliant and lively young people.

Our main service is at 10.30 every Sunday morning. Find out more about what's on offer at St Paul's.
