St Paul’s Church
St Paul's is a lively, growing church on Coronation Road in Southville, overlooking the New Cut and historic harbourside in the heart of Bristol.
We aim to be a beacon of God’s love and a centre of worship and mission.
We believe worship is important and we try and be as creative as possible in our styles and approaches to praise and worship.
We believe God loves our community, and we do our best to share that love in all sorts of ways, from throwing great parties to telling people about the good news of Jesus.
It is with great sadness that we share that Adrian McInnes passed away last week. Adrian has been a loved member of our church for many years and our organist. We are sure many will have fond memories and admiration for his many gifts. He will missed.
Further details regarding funeral arrangements will be announced once confirmed.
We are seeking to appoint a passionate Youth Pastor to bring vision and leadership to the youth ministry of St Paul’s. They will develop the church’s current provision as well as encouraging and innovating new and creative ways to reach out and disciple young people in our community.
If you have a passion for the Gospel and the difference it can make to young people’s lives, we would love to hear from you!

The BS3 Community Foodbank (formerly BS3 Community Larder) was set up in March 2020 as a response to the pandemic.
Our mission is to support individuals and families within the BS3 postcode area, who are struggling financially. We supply emergency food parcels which contain three full days’ worth of food, as well as cleaning products and toiletries, as needed.
The foodbank, which runs on a referral-only basis, takes place at the church on Thursdays between 9.30am and 12pm. We also welcome donations at this time.
If you have a referral, please arrive between 10-11.30 AM for this to be processed.
easing of restrictions
Sunday services - from 3 October 2021
We are continuing to worship at St Paul's Church for worship, but have retained some coronavirus precautions. Please wear a mask when inside the building, sign in on arrival, use the hand sanitisers provided. We have increased the number of chairs, but have ensured wider aisles and more air flow.
Our main Sunday morning services will also be live streamed to the St Pauls Facebook page every Sunday.
In this socially distanced time we are looking at how we can facilitate prayer ministry for those who want it. Even when lockdown ends it's tricky to pray at the front of church with 2 metres separating us!
Elizabeth and the team are offering a "Zoom Prayer ministry service".
It will be available on the third Thursday of the month from 7.00 - 9.00 pm.
People wanting prayer should email this email address email@example.com to fix an appointment. Two members of the team will be available to pray with them.
There's always lots going on at St Paul's Church, whether it's a new series of worship and teaching, small groups, activities for young people, socials and music, or volunteering to help the homeless or those in need in our community
New Year, New Vicar!
We are delighted that our Curate Rev Jacqui Kean has been appointed as the new vicar of St Paul's and St Aldhelm's. We look forward to many years for fruitful ministry.
Small groups are a great way to deepen and nourish your faith, connect to our community, and get to know people more. Why not make 2022 the start of your small group journey?
A time to pause and reflect. For people of all faiths and none. We are meeting every Sunday evening during lent 7:00-8:00pm
Our main service is at 10.30 every Sunday morning. Find out more about what's on offer at St Paul's.
